GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE APPLYING
APPLICATION PROCESS AND DEADLINES:
The Application Process:
- The applicants fill out the application form by April 18, 2027 11:59 pm.
- Within 2 weeks, each National President prioritizes the list of the applicants from their National Organization.
- The academy welcomes the confirmed delegates and sends out the invitations with payment instructions after the National Presidents’ nomination phase closes. Note: The number of delegates per National Organization is limited. The academy will invite in order of the priority given by the National Presidents.
- Registration is complete when payment is registered.
The Deadlines:
- April 18, 2027 11:59 pm: Application closes – and the last date of application for guaranteed spots of every* JCI National Organization.
- Application deadline + 2 weeks: Last date for the National President to confirm their nominees. After this point reserves will be invited if extra spots are still available.
- If you miss the deadline of the earlybird, the price will increase by 540SEK and after additional 2 weeks by 1000SEK and the spot may go to the next in line.
* Note: some JCI National Organizations might have internal nomination processes with their own deadlines, so please check with your National Organization!
Guaranteed spots: Every European JCI National Organization has a possibility to send at least three to eight (3-8) delegates if the JCI National President has approved and nominated the applications. The maximum number of delegates for any JCI National Organization is eight-ten (8-10) depending on the maximum number of available spots at the 30th JCI European Academy .
SCHEDULE OF THE ACADEMY:
- Friday 09:00 – 12:00: Registration
- Friday 13:00: Official Opening Ceremony (mandatory!)
- Friday afternoon – Monday evening: Training, training, training
- Monday evening: Graduation Ceremony & Gala Party
- Tuesday: Departure after breakfast
PRICING:
An invitation with payment instruction will be sent by email (make sure to check the address you provided during the application!) to approved applicants.
- Price: 6550 SEK
The price covers everything during the JCI European Academy (food, training and accomodation).
CANCELLATIONS:
If you cannot participate in JCI European Academy, you need to inform us at the earliest convenience via mail:Â jciea@jcisweden.se, subject: Cancellation.
You may cancel your participation if:
- You cannot participate anymore because of your health condition, a medical certificate will be needed.
- You are no longer allowed to travel to Sweden
For cancellation until June 30th, you will get a full refund (except bank charges).
Ensure your travel insurance covers the participation fee in case you are no longer allowed to travel to Sweden.
The EA team will look into a potential substitute by contacting candidates on the reserve list. Be aware though that the later cancellation the more difficult it is to find a substitute. The EA team can at no point give any assurance that a substitute can be found.
After 30th of June:
If a substitute is found, you will receive a full refund except of the administration fee (1.000 SEK).
If a substitute is NOT found, you will receive according to following tiers:
- For cancellation before July 8th, you will receive a 50% refund.
- For cancellation until July 22nd, you will receive a 25% refund.
- For cancellation after July 22nd, no refunds.
Let us know about your situation (e.g. inability to get insurance coverage) and we will inform you about the refunds.
